Go Handmade Stitch Wire

If you need 'storage space' for your stitches and you don't have enough needles/circular needles, or if a sweater needs to be tried on and the circular needle is not long enough for all the stitches to fit without falling off the needle.

This fine stitch wire from Go Handmade is great for holding your stitches when the needles are taken up elsewhere. It is available in different colours, so you can choose for yourself which color wire you think looks best.

You use the wire by cutting a piece of it that fits the project, which you put on your needle. The material of the wire sticks to the needle, so you don't have to worry about the stitches falling off anyway. You then carefully push the stitches over from the needle to the stitch wire, and then you can choose to put stitch stoppers at each end of the wire or tie a knot - it's entirely up to you.
