Mayflower Alliance
Alliance from Mayflower is a beautiful cotton blend spun with Turkish cotton, whose long fibers give the yarn both incredible wear resistance and a fine shine. The mix of materials in the yarn means that it is wonderfully soft and stays soft after washing, and that it also dries quickly.
The yarn is comfortable against the skin, and it is therefore a good alternative to wool yarn if you are allergic to lanolin, which is found in wool, or do not want to work with animal fibers - the yarn is free of these. Alliance can i.e. replace Mayflower Easy Care Classic in the patterns created for this, as the two yarns have the same knitting gauge.
